When I think about it...our young women today are really sad (well, most of them that is). It seems as though family...and education are being put on the back burner for other stuff such as hair dye, looks, and being the hottest piece of meat out there.

Alot of it has to do with parenting these days. It's not up to Paris to instill morals and values in kids. Parents (not all, of course) tend to put their KIDS on the back burner for other stuff.

I agree with you. They need good role models because everything they watch and listen is what they don't need. But especially i think they have to be loved.

i suspect today's young ladies are the same as young ladies have been since the beginning. some are obedient and studious, others are loud, brassy and common.

today we learn about everything of any nature whatsoever, within minutes of any event. in the past this was not the case. also, we never hear about young ladies with straight a's , we hear about those who are rich and pregnant and those suffering from the inability to handle the difficulties of life.

look at it this way; micheal jackson and and britanny spears have a lot in common. in a different way, alicia keys and beckham also have a lot in common . some cope and others do not.
