I having noticed I have been finding hairs,beard hair,head hairs,stray hairs and hairs that have been cooked in the food along with glitter and a piece of plastic in food at several different restaurants and fast food chains.

That's kinda sickening. You should report these restaurants to health inspectors or something because these people aren't standing up to all of the other better restaurant's propaganda. Go to better resaurants I guess!

As a matter of fact more often then I would like. Just the other day at work I went into our cafeteria and got a salad and there was a black hair...NASTY, why don't they wear hair nets, or put their hair up anymore? Now I won't ever eat in the cafeteria again. If I'm at a restaurant I let the server or manager know.

Some times. I know my Niece found half a roach in her Chinese. She did not know if she ate half of it or not.

One thing i want to say though, if you send the plate back or complain get out of there. The next plate might have some thing well hidden and the Chef will stand there and watch you consume his dirty little secret

I would say it depends on where you live and where you're going to eat.... and if the employees know (read: hate) you. I live in the South after growing up in NY, and I can say that only once since coming down here have I found anything bigger than a piece of lint in my food. In NY, though.... just don't assume those hairs are from a beard, that's all I can say.

Yes! I just found a hair in my food from Wendy's. I took that crap right back. Not only about the hair, but what is it with all the fast food restaurants McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's, Arby's when you order something they can never get the order right SOMETHING is always WRONG. Is the grease frying their brains. I was at Mc Donald's a couple of days ago getting breakfast and watched a worker who had gloves on scratch her face, grab a broom, slide her hand down the counter, touch the register and touch food. Now what was the sense of her having on gloves.

I think on average maybe finding a hair in your food once or twice a year should be on average. Although this isn't always the case, the better the restaurant the better chances you are to not find any hair. I mean i work at a three star restaurant and we always have to wear hats. But servers don't and whenever a hair is found we comp. the meal.
