Have a question about short curly hairstyle...?

My hair is thick and touches my shoulders. my question is, to get some of these hairstyles, are there any curlers I could use?

I'm mostly asking about the curlers that you sleep in. My hair is thick and naturally has a little bit of a wave.

I'm horrible with a curling iron, and because my hair is so thick I have to do so many small pieces and it takes forever.

had a great suggestion that I like about the curlers, but it doesn't recommend a certain kind. Has anyone used any of them out there?

I am *NOT* looking for shirley temple curls. I want a little bit more than soft waves though. an in between.

I think the easiest to use and to sleep in are the sponge rollers. You can get them at Walmart or at any drugstores, and they come in 3 different sizes to accommodate the length of your hair and/or the tightness of curl that you want. There are also other options like the benders, or even rag curls, if you want to experiment a bit.
