Can people with oval faces cut their hair into a longish bob??

I have long brunette hair and it's length is at my chest.

I want to cut it into a lengthy bob [meaning the longest pieces would hit my shoulders] [oh, and yes, when i say bob i mean one of those choppy bobs]

but I'm afraid it will look weird on my longer face

I have chubby cheeks, and a longish face

but I have a strong jaw

would it look okay?

As long as you have a strong jaw and chubby cheeks I think it would be fine. See, if your face was long and thin, the shorter hair would make your face even longer and thinner. But if your face is slightly more round then that, I think it would be pretty. =) Be sure to get a choppier one or one with layers, like you said, because a blunt one in my opinion is old fashioned and un flattering to any face shape.
