Ok i need some answers QUICK !!!?

i have a problem. ok i had black hair and i used this kit that lightens the hair BEFORE you use an actual color. the problem is that the top turned an orangey red and underneath its still black and some of the front pieces are still black.

tonight im going to dye my hair light blonde but will it turn a different color besides blonde ? ( i didnt actually use red dye, the effect of the lightening kit turned it that color.

i have been a hair dresser for 15 years and and your answer is yes it will not turn blonde like the way you think it will. the nly way to get your hair blond will be a process and may cost a lot of money since you decided to start it at home a repair is more than the actual hair do it self. first of all black is very hard to get out you will go through all the stages of red and orange before you get to blonde you will need to get professional help stop what you are doing. you will only make it worse and brittle. go see a stylist they can help.

People with black or dark brown hair that want to go light should do it professionally. If I were you I would spend the money to go to a Salon. You really can't hide your head.

I think that you should see a professional stylist when going from black to blonde. You could do some serious damage to your hair and scalp trying to do that kind of dramatic change at home.

I would recommend NOT coloring your hair so close to "lightening" it and go seek professional advice.
