We have a new light tan suede sectional...and we also have 2 toddlers. The sectional, as you could imagine has seen quite a bit of milk, juice, food, vomit, etc. and there is a tear starting on the back of it from our kitten.
I am a pretty crafty person and thought 'why don't I get this thing clean one last time and make a slip cover.' It will help me with the pet hair that the sectional gets on it aswell. and although I do realize that it will still soak through liquids it will help me be a little less embarassed because it sucks when we have company, and the house looks beautiful but the furniture looks like it has been through World War 2.
The sectional comes apart in 3 pieces, a wedge type chair, a pull out bed (that we don't' need to worry about accessing, and the other piece has 2 recliners connected by a small table with a lift up cubby hole type arm rest in the middle. I've never made a slip cover before and don't know the first thing about making one..and I have a feeling
Making a slipcover?
I doubt it is that tricky if you can sew, just measure and go from there, stores sell them already made might check that out first, just measure your couch, seats and back and length
