Is it lice? or just dandruff?

okay so my hair is a little bit past my shoulders. My scalp is really itchy but its kinda been like that for a while. I don't know if I'm dehydrated cause i dont drink a lot of water or what. I'm getting this little flakes and very very small i guess you can say their little pieces. But i can break them up with my fingers, but their small. So is this just A itchy dandruff situation or do you think its lice? please help =/

It is not lice, dont worry. Try to put some lotion on your scalp, this will make your hair feel a little oily, but it will not cause any harm. If this helps make the dry skin flakes go away, then you have solved the problem......if not I would suggest seeing your doctor for some other solutions................although I really think the lotion will moisturize your dry scalp to get rid of the dandruff. If it does work then switch to a shampoo that will help out with dandruff.

dandruff...and drink water...and really scrub your head when washing...that happened to me until i really scrubbed the dead off...laney...ps, lice doesnt fall off, you must get it to slide off with your nail...

If it is lice you can get somebody to check your hair with a very fine comb and the eggs will be attached to the individual hairs/ More likely dandruff and still needs attention/ Change your shampoo to Head %26amp; Shoulders or similar for a while and see

It is probably dandruff or psoriasis. Get a good shampoo for dry scalp like Head %26amp; Shoulders or one for psoriasis...try that first. I doubt that you have lice. If you do, time will tell because that itching will turn into actual lice running through your hair on your scalp. Then buy a bottle of Rid.

if it was lice it would look like little black bugs, you would know. it's just dry skin on your scalp. you could buy a dandruff shampoo to help this %26amp; it should get better when the winters over and theres more moisture in the air so your scalp skin isnt so dry!

Sounds like dandruff, buy some dandruff shampoo. If it was lice you would have sores around your ears and the nape of your neck.
