Okay well i was cleaning out my sisters room when i found these folded pieces of paper in one of her dressers. I found these poems.

Just to be pretty for a day

that was the first one heres the second

Why cant people see me

for who i am inside

why when people look at me

they want to run and hide

why do people tease me

as if i dont get hurt

why do people treat me

like a rotten piece of dirt

why do people think that

i dont know that im ugly

why do people act like

they just wanna bug me

why dont people ever

stop to think about

how i am on the inside

instead of the out

How can i prove my sis wrong and tell her shes not ugly!!!!

The only thing your sister needs is confidence. My sister is not pretty at all but she ooozzzzes confidence. She is married with 4 kids so there is some hope. Even for the less attractive people out there. Poems are just away of pouring our hearts out. Just be worried when she starts writing about killing herself or doing some harm to others. Just be there for her and offer her some beauty tips. Do a girlie night once a week. Make her feel pretty.. Good luck.

Every one has some physical attribute that they can build on, point that out to your sister , and let her know also that attitude plays a huge part in how people perceive you as a person. Let her know that she has to appreciate herself for who God made her to be. Let her know that the minute she begins to appreciate her self and See's her own beauty that others will begin to see her beauty. All God's children are beautiful!

I know how you feel. My twin sister is physicaly handicapped. She has to go in a wheelchair and she only has one arm. People never seem to care what she's like on the inside, and that is affecting her. Just admit to her you were going through her stuff. But reassure her that everything's okay, and that she's not ugly. And that looks are only skin deep. Looks aren't what get you along in life. (A good one, anyway) She'll go far if she stops focusing on looks. Just try to be a support system for her.
