Costume jewelry for wedding needed!?

I'm looking for replica jewelry (the earrings and hair clips) from this website. http://www.koechert.com/

A friend posted a similar question for me yesterday, and one response was extremely helpful.

They said that there was a princess in Vienna, Princess Sisi (Empress Elisabeth of Austria) that adorned the same earrings and hair clips I'm looking for.

I googled it, and came up with the website above. However, it would cost nearly $7000 for the earrings, and I just don't have that kind of money, lol.

The poster suggested trying to contact various souvineir shops in Vienna, and advised that replica's for this jewelry was all over the Hofburg Plaza.

So far, I haven't been able to find a link to any suvenier shop in Vienna and I haven't been able to find a place that makes these same pieces of jewelry with swarovski crystals instead of diamonds.

If any of you know how I can get a hold of a shop that sells these items, please post the link in your reply.

Thanks!

Thats really difficult. I tried looking for star, snowflake, and daisy. I wasn't able to find much but keep looking. Maybe in a couple months you'll find something. Consider maybe hair combs instead of the individual clips.

Check these out though:

American bridal had some that were really pretty at about 30 each. Balloons-galore may end up looking cheap.

But I'd also consider buying broaches at a local department store and turning them into hair pins. And look at star shaped belt buckles. Sometimes they are too huge but some might be the right size. They have just rhinestone belt buckles (without the belt) at the craft stores.

Also try www.myjeanm.com. I didn't see anything like what you are looking for right now but they update often.

You can buy crystals at a craft store like Michaels though so you might end up buying earrings and then making similar hair clips. A sturdy hair clip is rather cheap and then just add the crystals to make it look like the earrings.

The other choice is look into having it made by a silversmith. They will run you a bit more but nothing close to Princess Sisi's. Maybe $100-200.

Good luck though and congrats

If you can get pictures of exactly what you want I may be able to put you in contact with someone in Iowa that can make them for you, using Swarovski crystals.

You can contact me through Answers!
